Eric J. Robinson is an American physician and urology resident at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, California, whose work sits at the intersection of clinical urologic oncology and applied artificial intelligence in healthcare. He received a BA in mathematics and psychology from Williams College and an MD from Oregon Health & Science University, and previously worked as an EDI interface analyst at Epic Systems and as a research staff member at NYU Langone Health.

Robinson's research interests span the clinical, technical, and operational sides of artificial intelligence in medicine, from building and validating models to understanding how they are adopted in practice, as well as urologic surgical outcomes and quality improvement. He is a co-inventor on a US patent covering deep learning for tumor characterization.
